"My old school"

Hello all, this is Mark Bird here, expressing my annoyance at the school falling victim to fire. I reckon the school should be demolished because that is land being wasted by a school that is no longer. It is a pity that this happened now because next February, the school would have been celebrating it's 40th anniversary, February 12, 1972. I know this because there was a plaque just at the front door commemorating this event. It would've been nice that everyone and anyone who ever attended this during the past 40 years to attend a celebratory night in the school, plus any teachers that taught there as well. (If they're still alive that is) because I know that some of the teachers I had would be well into their 80s now. I suppose there were teachers who worked in the school in the 1970s who would be near enough their 100s if they're still alive..
