A lovely old pub where the beer is good. The pub has 3 areas, modernish bar with pool table, olde worlde lounge with atmosphere and music and the grill/restuarant which also has a nice olde worlde feel - food was plentiful, tasty and cheap and they had a huge menu!!

Manageress (Morag?) was really friendly and told me there are big plans to revamp the grill. Apparently it's being brought back in-house (having previously been leased) and they're planning to have lots of specials as well as a new menu. Can't wait to go back for a look when it opens in the next few weeks..
