All staff have been issued their redundancy notices and the school will close on the 30th June 2010. It is widely rumoured that the school will open up again but under a different name but as yet management have refused to confirm this. The management of the school, the Board of Managers and Cora Foundation have let the staff of Springboig St. John's School down. Mismanagement got the school into this mess but it is the decent staff who are paying for it with their jobs.
