A review of Allied International Credit by Anonyous CAG memberg written on Friday 19th of February 2010

"So basically what CAG member is sayin is try to avoid paying a debt that is not in dispute???"

I'm not just saying that. I'm saying that the person it was in reply to should have AIC prove that they have the legal right to collect on the debt in question.

If AIC can't prove that legal right, then the person has no business or obligation to pay AIC - regardless of whether the guy disputes it or not.

Also, if AIC can't have the original client provide a copy of the original agreement to the customer, then AIC has no premise on which to threaten that person with 'legal action'.

"Your site is a joke, full of people who will do anything to avoid paying debt that you took out with the intention of paying back but now you try to exploit the system with loopholes!"

It's not 'my' site - I don't run it. The 'loophole' excuse is tired and utterly worn out, but always used by collection agency trolls to justify the job that they do, such as it is.

The Consumer Credit Act 1974 was brought to prevent exactly the kind of exploitation that AIC tries to thrive on. 'Loophole' is factually wrong - it is entirely clear and intentional what the CCA is there for.

Plus, why do collection agency persist in insulting members of the public. After all, that's what CAG is made up of - all 250'000 of them. So, somewhat more people take my side of the argument than yours. And that's just one debt advice site!

Furthermore, your company is a joke, and how quickly AIC backpedals when the 'customer' begins to question you.

Just as a sidenote, CAG had an AIC troll turn up there a few months back, who went through the 'I'm here to help' spiel before regressing to 'defaulting unemployed scum' insults within 15 minutes. That wouldn't have been you, by any chance, would it?

"Imagine lending you some money - you would never see it back!"

Well, that hasn't happened - sorry to disappoint you. I don't have debt - much as firms like yours would try to have me believe.

If you're going to shill for AIC, please try to be a little less transparent and obvious about it.

It amuses me to see collection agency staff take their jobs and themselves so seriously - most people who work for companies wouldn't particularly care if their company was being criticised. It's comical to see how worked up you get whenever anyone does give negative comment..
