"A pleasant meal spoiled by bill"

Having enjoyed a bar meal where posters advertise 2 for one where over £5.83 I was dismayed to find that what I ordered was not included even though it was over the threshold. When the manager was called he referred to a pamphlet which he said was displayed on every table but for reasons best known to himself would not walk the 2 meters to show me where it was on the table we sat at.

Knowing that these deals always have exceptions I had checked, neither meal was overly expensive, I had read every piece of information on the table to check that we were entitled to the deal. When I ordered nobody said that there was a problem.
