"FAME - Lets hope it doesn't last forever"

I has looked forward to this musical for some time. Not a big fan of the genre but certainly enjoyed the movie and the TV series. They tried to cover too many of the plot lines from the series instesd of concentrating on the major theme of the movie. The sub plots could have easily been made inclusive by song choice and sensible use of scenery. I managed to stick it half time, having watched a numbing version of the key song, then left to watch paint dry. A truely awful production that did not do justice to the tremedous plays etc normally hosted by the King's..
