"Cricket Club Founders"

A review of Clydesdale Cricket Club by Rose Green written on Wednesday 2nd of April 2008

I am doing some family research (along with hundreds of others) and I hope someone at your club can assist.

My Great Grandfather was Edwin Pearce/Pierce, he was born in Windsor 1820 and moved to Glasgow Crossmyloof area in the 1870s. He was a cricket coach and Professional cricketer, he was founder member of Clyde Cricket Club, which I think may now be the Clydesdale Cricket Club.

Can anyone offer any help with my research.
