I recall Wilson & Garden "blackboards" during my school days & long after, when my career took me into various schools.

I remember seeing W&G technicians replacing worn panels with Maths or map panels or skins.

During school renovations, complete units (solid hardwood) were dumped in skips to be later - at an appropriate date in the works programme - replaced with the latest W&G MDF substitute units..
