"Great models - but you'll never see them!"

Someone commented on here to the effect that there were no problems until 2007! That is a complete fantasy. I had placed orders dating back to the 1990s that - sometimes - turned up. Back then you could speak to Gordon on the phone and he is a very affable guy, but he was happy to chat for a very long time which made me wonder about how much work he was getting through. Last year, after steering clear of Cromwell for several years, I did manage to purchase some items from him but only after repeated e-mails and several months of a wait. So as good as his models are, I would not put myself through that ordeal again. If there are health issues I absolutely sympathise - BUT - he is still happy to take orders and payment, and if there is not a 100% commitment to fulfilling orders on a timely basis - he should NOT..
