"Cleaning hours reduced for ASDA aces, March 2015"

I would suggest we've all been stitched up good and proper with this latest round of cutbacks (March 2015)

Management told us that cleaning with microfibre is the way forward and so they have gone and cut around 50 hours a week, of cleaning time, at the store I work at !

The microfibre revolution is going to be very expensive to implement and although they knocked our hours down already, it is still estimated to be about a further month away, before it actually goes "live" leaving us all to wonder, if it is really necessary to spend a small fortune, on the tools, machines and equipment!

A couple of years ago, at the super store I work at, there were usually seven of us working the early morning shift, but now, there are normally, only three of us, to clean every area, including colleague areas and the car park, so come audit day, we are now, worryingly likely, to end up with a low score !

This situation is already starting to cause very low morale as everyone wonders how much the aces and their hours, will be cut back, still further, in twelve months time.

Wages should already have been increased significantly, to compensate workers, for all the struggles and good effort they put in, to achieve a good audit score with far fewer staff and significant reduction in cleaning hours over the last couple of years ! It's been very hard to keep up the pace. Anyway I fear the goalposts have, simply been moved too far this time !.
