"Completely wasted my time"

I waited over three weeks for a quote. Called three times to chase this up, with no call back. Eventually went to the shop (which is a 1/2 hour drive from my house) and was told 'there was no way of knowing how much it would be'. No apology for the inconvenience.

I took my job elsewhere, where they provided me with a quote on the spot (it wasn't a difficult job) and are giving me a 7 day turnaround. Wish I had just went to them in the first place.
