"The Park Lane - Where Glasgow comes to Life"

A review of Park Lane by Davie Pat written on Tuesday 21st of January 2014

What can I say, the Park Lane is my lover, my best friend and my pet dog.

Every time you go in your met by a welcoming smile and a pint of lager from one of the friendly/helpful bar staff.

There's loads of characters that come in like the Wee Beasty, Big Sandy, Yedae Whatyedave, Limmy, Frank fae the Gallogate, Cider Bill and various other neanderthals that are walking up and down Hope Street. No one judges you if come in on your own and tan a pint in 3 minutes on your lunchtime and they sometimes give you free shots to help you get hammered. The only downside I would say is that I have yet to get my Nat King Cole whilst drinking in the Park Lane but I'm sure it's just a matter of time :)
