I've been a client of Woodlands Herbs' for several years, for acupuncture (Francesca Howell) and herbs (Anna Hill). Where 'western medicine' has often failed and frustrated, the skills and knowledge of the WH practitioners have helped me deal with and successfully treated various ailments and longer-term problems (latterly to do with some 'post-natal' issues), and provided both physical and emotional support. The practitioners are generally my first port of call nowadays and the consistent standard of care has been invaluable to me. I've also very much appreciated the fact that the practitioners have often worked together to create an appropriate care plan for me, so you feel the bottom line for them isn't the business but the client - something that's not necessarily the norm, even in the world of complementary therapies. The shop's herbs are also *very* reasonably priced, which is a bonus, and I find if I have a long-term prescription it is affordable. I couldn't recommend Woodlands Herbs highly enough; there's a good range of therapies that can cover a range of needs and lovely practitioners and staff. In building the reputation of complementary therapies and their efficacy, it's also very important to support small businesses like this, and I shall continue to do so!.
