When i was a wee lad 40 years ago i used to help out in Wm keens before and after school. One off my first jobs in the morning was to take the mince meat down to greens the bakery for there pies, after school i would help clean up wash the the trays and scrub the blocks ha ha happy times as a kid.I now live in england, have done for 30years,when i helped out at the shop i think the son david ran the shop and his dad worked a the weekends or when the shop was busy.I can remember dave he used to smoke oval shapped ciggies i think they where called passing clouds. They where happy childhood times for me and thanks for giving this wee lad a part time job..
