On arrival having to wait for a table that was booked to be prepared approx 10 minute wait, where there was no visible customer previously seated at the table. Once starters had been ordered it was discovered that not all cutlery had been placed, at which point within a couple of minutes 2 different members of staff appeared with the missing item, appearing to be some lack of communication between staff. Starters: The food received as starters was relatively good if somewhat simple, excluding the bread which was somewhat stale. Main Course: Once it finally arrived approximately 1hour after the starters had been cleared from the table. Once more confusion with what cutlery was being issued and how many knives and forks would be required to eat a steak. The food itself was extremely poor what could only be described as overpriced surf 'n' turf poor quality sirloin not the freshest tasting scallops or king prawns, overdone veal; side orders of veg overcooked stringy asparagus all other veg overdone also. Overall view: Food: Overpriced, over cooked. Service: Extremely poor at no point asked whether food was good/ enjoyed very basic manners totally missed out. Price: expensive prices would reflect that of some of the better restaurants in the area however food quality and service could be likened to a fast food establishment. One of the most disappointing meals I have had I can safely say that having been to this restaurant on numerous occasions I will not be returning in a rush, plenty of far superior Italian restaurants in Glasgow. |
