I was born there at a very early age, in 1956. My older sister, younger brother, and younger sister were also born there. My mother says that it was an interesting experience - she was just allowed to "get on with it" without too much interference from the holy sisters - reading between the lines I think it must have been similar to the birthing experiences of the native American prairie indians !! (Of course my mother would never actually say that lest anyone might infer she was being critical of the lovely nuns )

I understand that some of them were thrown out of the Nazi party for unnecessary cruelty !! But that is another story for another day..
