I was at the school 1956/1959 I recall the air raid shelter you refer to but it may have got converted to an outside toilet when I was there as I remember people not using it as bullys used to duck your head down the toilet pans.also in music class upstairs I got my backside caned for eating a candy ball during singing lessons.
