L gave birth here in June 1999 l was nineteen in the hospital for four weeks my first child l was nineteen along way from home and emotions were in over drive.I came from a small Island called Barra and was extremely homesick. The staff were amazing and made me feel at home even though l was a long line of women giving birth l met some amazing people l had a wee boy called Ronan l met two amazing girls on my ward that made me laugh a lot unfortunately l have now lost contact with them l know one of the girls was called Sarah.I was sad to hear the queen mothers had closed down .
