I have vivid memories of being taken to a window by anurse and been showing the steam rising from the ships in the Broomielaw as they sounded there sirens,

I was 4 3/4 years old, and due to a shortage of beds they put several children ( myself included ) in one of the womens wards, we were quite high up as I remember, does any one else remember ?

Alex Paterson, ex Glasgow, now Nottingham.
