I have had similar experience/s with Cromwell Models in terms of 'No' Communication. Made one order in 2003 which I regarded myself lucky to receive after a considerable length of time and failure by Gordon Brown to answer email or telephone inquiries.
My second inquiry in relation to the release of the Churchill range in 2006 received a prompt reply. Similarly, my Visa card was very promply charged for my order. Nothing has ever been received and no response was ever recieved in terms of numerous email inquiries. Cromwell Models charged me for over AUD$1000.00 of kits and I have received nothing and NO RESPONSE to a any follow-up inquiry.
I check the website occassionally but would never buy again. I am not surprised that the site is now off-line....................
I retain records of my purchase and order from 2006 and am happy to substantiate this experience. I would offer a note of caution to any person/s considering purchasing from Cromwell Models.
