As a pupil at the school in the 60's my fondest memory is hwen the school went to Saltcoats supplied with school sandwiches wrapped in grease proof paper.

The line of Blue bird buses was a sight to be seen with lots of excited children looking forward to a day out of lessons.

We were let off the leash once we arrived and had a great time wandering around the sea side town spending pocket money in the amusements there.
