I attended Ruchill Primary from the age of about 10 until I left to go to high school. It was there that I met some of my friends that will stay with me for the rest of my life! It really was a great school to attend, although it is a rather small school compaired to most it was full of some of the best teachers and people that you could ever meet.

I went to Ruchill school as my first school in Glasgow as I had not always lived here. And of course everyone gets scared being the 'new kid' at school, but I can honestly say that EVERYONE does their best to make you feel as welcome and as comfortable as you could possibly be!

I was a second generation pupil at the school as my mother had also attended when she was a kid, and even then one of the same teachers that had taught my mum was still there!I'm sure you are all aware of Mrs Robertson! Proving that Ruchill Primary school is so full of love that people want to stay as long as they possibly can!

So when it came to the time when we were choosing a school for my younger sister Nicole to go to there was no arguing that it would definetly be Ruchill! And she absoulutley loves it there, she is always coming home saying what fun she had at school that day! Most kids love the holidays .. Nicole never wants to leave! Its great to see a kid that enjoys school so much .. and that really is to do with the Staff and other pupils making the school a joy to attend!

Long may Ruchill Primary stay in the community!.
