"1960-1967"

A review of Victoria Primary School by Sheena Cowan written on Tuesday 3rd of February 2009

I went to Victoria School from 1960 till 1967 and loved it. Mr McIntyre was the Headmaster and Miss Cochrane the Infants teacher. Also remember Miss Henderson, Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Campbell.

My best friend was Jeanne McDonald. June Cullen and Elaine Bonner were also in the class.

Really sorry to hear that the school is earmarked for closure this summer (2009). If it does close, any chance of a former pupils reunion??.
