"Staffing"

A review of Starbucks by Spence written on Thursday 13th of November 2008

Had the ocassion to visit Starbucks in Buchanan Street on Wednesday 5th November 2008 at lunchtime. Not surprisingly the establishment was busy, however, I was disappointed to see empty cups on tables and a queue the length of the place waiting to be served with only two staff expected to deal with it. This is not the first time that this had happened to me and i feel strongly that durung busy times such as lunch there should be adequate staff on duty to accommodate the volume of customers. I was even asked if I would accept my coffee in a paper cup as there were no china mugs available (most of them seemed to be lying on tables). Have used Starbucks on many occassions because of the product, however, i feel they should get their act together pertaining to staffing levels at busy times of the day. .
