This small shop is everything that the big ones are not --- i's friendly, filled with miscellaneous obscure items, and staffed by genuine experts in the business.

They are helpful, to the point of doing themselves out of business if they can point you in the direction of a cheaper alternative.

For the best, cheapest and fastest shoe repairs, or for bags, belts, purses or indeed anything you can't find anywhere else ... this IS the shop for you.

(Interesting to note also that the film to be shown in the new Museum of Transport's Cobbler's Shop was shot at Ward's Footwear Repair)..
