"Kit delivery from Cromwell models"

I've seen the reviews on apparent difficulties with kit delivery from Cromwell. A point if I may, I think folks that despite being an excellent producer of some extreemly interesting and otherwise unavailable kits we must remember that the company is a lot smaller affair than the othe competitors in the market.

The likes of Verlinden/Accurate Armour and others in the "Cottage industry!" of resin model manufacturing are more prolific and able to achieve greater production due in part to the fact that they have a fairly large team of people working for/with them to prduce their equally interesting ranges.

I'm aware that some of the sub contracted "Master modelers" of individual pieces have produced models for several of the resin manufacturing fraterinty and that upgrades and improvementsto the kits, requiring retooling, can slow delivery part way through a production run.

Give the small team a chance, Cromwell do advise that you allow 28 days for delivery. Their kits do not however come with the range of instructions that the others provide and this could be daunting for less experienced modelers.

My Churchill ARV MK2 arrived today and loking at the quality of casting it compares well with other resin kit manufactures. The recent trend, from some producers, of CD's with walk around pictures are an added bonus, perhaps we the builder comunity should provide a tad more input and then we'll get the improvements we're after.
