I see after 2 yrs after losing our dad Thomas Rattray, that things have not changed, at this home, our dad lost 5 stone during co vid, and died of malnutrition, a respectable man who was ex soldier, he walked up and down corridor every day all day, then co vid come and a man with bad dementia, was told he not allowed out his room, he couldnt understand, why he was now banned from leaving his room, so they started tying him in a wheelchair, which he hated, so they put nappies on him, he was never incontinence, confined him to bed by putting sides up, and sedating him, because he would not stay in his room, he couldnt jnderstand, he was only one mobile on his floor. 3.he was a nuicence to them, he deteriorated, when we got back in for visit, our dad asked for tea, when we asked staff member for cup of tea, this new person, we had never saw before, co vid, informed us your dad Tam doesnt drink tea, after informing him otherwise, our dad drank cup of tea in one go, our dad was always a tea jenny before lock down he could drink at least 10 mugs of tea at least every day. We went in every day to encourage him with his meals, this will stay with us for life that our dad died of malnutrition and dehydration. How john murray still there, we can never believe, he openly told us he knows nothing about his job, as he had been a chef, and was friendly with the owners son, is why he got the job, very lazy staff, all sitting playing with there phones, hope old staff all left and patients being better looked after, god be with yous, vl.
