"Memorable Years 65-71"

Whilst searching for class photo history found this and just kicked in so many great memories. Teachers names ring out especially Mrs Barrie (P6) for me doing history and having to copy off the board as she wrote. "Micky Moore" the janny as well a great ambassador of his time. Friday long playtime weather permitting the "hit and run" bat game with that little square board he could rattle you all out with competent ease. Mrs Crotch P7 was great too and of course the ambience exuded by Mrs Dunne (P4 ?). Used to tag a while with Ian Sorby as well. Duncan Masson, Jim Boyd and Paul McRae step up in the name drop. Christine Stephenson, Bessie Rae and Linda Mitchell too. Stayed in Haldane Street at the other end of Medwyn Street till 1984 of the school, 24 years total in Whiteinch before moving out of the big smoke. Been a while but used to do the occasional drive by remembering the dinner school where the windows were at street level. Great years 1965 to 1971 before stepping up to Victoria Drive..
