I read a review from someone called Agnes nugent. I was at Victoria primary at the same time from 1953 until leaving at 11 years of age. My name carol Forrest and I lived just a short walk away in Jameson street. Victoria school was a wonderful basis for my school years going on to Queen's Park school on prospecthlll Road. I have memories of mr linklator headmaster, mr mcphail and Mrs hislop. I lhave very fond memories of Victoria, and if you were at all interested in your education you were encouraged as much as you were prepared to work I recently visited Scotland street museum and it was like going back in time.
