I was born and raised in Maryhill Glasgow and lived at 1422 Maryhill Road right across the street from your establishment. We use to spend our Friday nights there back in the 70's before heading off to the Barrowland.....I was home recently and dropped in to have a Guinness shandy....It tasted just as good then as in the past.My father John Brown worked for you mostly cleaning up after parties and stuff.I wonder if anyone ther remembers him.He died in 1991.It was good seeing the old neighbourhood again and my shandy was delicious.....Kathleen Brown Gould AKA weeherry .
