I attended Cuthbertson Street primary from 1964 to 1971. Miss McKenzie was the head mistress then, we all loved her. She retired in 1971 the year I left to go to Queens Park secondary in Toryglen. The teacher I had in my final year in Cubby was Miss Alice C Hammond, very old school teacher. She was really strict but always fair. I loved my time there and miss all my old school mates.
