"Demolition of a beautiful building."

A review of Elder Park Primary School by Marta murray written on Monday 24th of February 2014

By chance found out there was to be an "open day" at the school before it

closed. Managed to tell a few of my friends and relatives about the details

unaware at that time the school was to be demolished!!!!

Visited the "new building" recently and felt a great sadness because I doubt

if it will be there forty years from now.

My mother and all my aunts, cousins, sister and brother attended the school

and on leaving, had attained a good basic education. The new building is

purpose built and I am sure will flourish with dedicated staff and the

special, special site in Linthouse..
