"No local telephone number for Lincoln Avenue"

A review of Royal Mail by Mrs Patricia Devlin written on Friday 23rd of August 2013

Tried to phone today to let PO know that wrong street number had been put on letter and that there is no such number, however they can do nothing about it as it is not the local office you end up speaking to and there is no way of contacting the local PO unless you go down, I am elderly with no car and cannot manage down to delivery office so letter will just go astray somewhere. What way is this to treat people especially the elderly or disabled with no form of transport!!!.
