"Christmas Ruined"

A review of Peking Palace by Ian S written on Wednesday 26th of December 2012

Booked here for Christmas dinner for my family of eight 6.30 sitting. Must be the worst experience we have ever had going out for a meal, we were not seated until 7.05 waited for an hour before starters arrived, then another thirty five minutes for the main course which was of an unacceptable standard. The steak was of poor quality very tough and badly cooked, seating arrangements very uncomfortable everyone jammed in with hardly any room to move making eating without sticking your elbow into the person next to you almost impossible. By the end of the main course we simply wanted this terrible experience to end and couldn’t wait to get out of the place, overall the service was shocking and the food poor none of my family will ever visit this establishment again. It is fair to say that Peking Palace ruined our Christmas day..
