"Mail 5 hours later than it was 5 years ago"

My mail is delivered 5 hours later than it used to be. The postman starts his round about 20 houses before me so can you tell me what the postman is doing for 5 hours before he starts his round, is he starting 5 hours later ? I don't think so. But he must be finishing 5 hours later, what is going on?

I would imagine in about another 5 years we will have to collect our mail maybe once a week and there will be no deliveries unless you pay extra. Just think of the money they would save on wages so then they could have more managers..
