"Great service"

1. I recently moved to back to the area to a traditional villa in Newlands after being away having relocated. When we moved in there was a cheap laminate floor in oak effect that had been installed throughout the downstairs. We wanted to get a real wood floor to replace it so we called First Floors. David came to our home with the samples and went through it all with us. We weren’t rushed, we were given lots of advice on the difference between real wood and engineered wood, and he went through the prices. Because he was there he could measure up for us and work out any extras like the stair nosings. We ended up getting a solid oak all through the downstairs and up the stairs as well, and because he had the samples with him we chose a new vinyl floor for the bathroom. We went to a few other places after receiving his quote and he was the cheapest plus no one else would come to our home with the samples so I was really impressed with this as an extra service. The job was fitted in a few days by two fitters who did an amazing job and the house was immaculate when they left. I don’t usually leave reviews – in fact this is the first time I have done so! Really happy overall and would recommend to anyone looking for a new floor. .
