I used to work for rennie and hodge when i was a teenager. they where based at west regent st then. mr gower and mr roberson where in charge then . i used to deliver parcels mainly to local printers on my wee wheelbarrow. the guy i worked with in the warehouse he was the packer. he came from cowcaddens ,i only remember his first name jimmy. highlight of the working week was going to the meatmarket with mr robertson in his rover car . wages were 3;50p per week but what gret memoris. happy days..
