Based in Cambuslang (Glasgow), Playguitar provides guitar tuiton to individuals across south Lanarkshire. Playguitar will teach each student the fundamentals of musical notation, (how to read music), music theory, position playing, scales and various technical studies to help develop speed and accuracy. Based in Westfarm Crescent, Glasgow, Playguitar.biz is a music teacher.
With practise the student will learn how to perform etudes, solos and duets, progressing through grades 1 to 7. With each milestone reached the student will be rewarded with a play guitar certificate verifying that each grade has been completed to a competent standard. Each student will also receive a folder to build up a collection of all teaching material, sheet music etc. The guitar lessons are taken by Simon Rae who has been playing the guitar for over fifteen years and has been influenced by many of the great guitar players from years gone by such as Jimi Hendrix for his eccentric rock playing, and Django Rienhardt the king of the gypsy jazz style of guitar playing..
