"Phones again"
A review of Homesafe Insurance by Anonymous - Thursday 31st of May 2007After my last post, I have checked the FSA website, which says that although they are registered they have 'applied to cancel'. The FSA would not give me any further information, however I found details of a mediator for Homesafe, Peter Murphy. His telephone number will not accept incoming calls, however I have e-mailed him (peter.murphy@id-insurance.co.uk) to try to find out what's going on.
FSA also informed me that if the company is no longer able to pay claims, you can contacts the FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme) who may be able to help, depending on when the policy was taken out - their number is 0207 8927300. Good luck!
