"Great food"
A review of McChuills by Louise wright - Tuesday 17th of August 2010Popped into mcchuills for the first time in over a year as i noticed there doing food again and i was glad i did.The menu has usual pub classics and some high class dishes for the type of venue.I was in on a Sunday and had there Sunday roast menu i think it was £11.95 for 3 courses considering its 2 mins walk form babbity bowsers where you cant even get a bland overpriced fish dish for that i was amazed i had a haggis neeps and tattie starter with a whisky cream was well presented and very tasty for main i had pork loin with a honey and mustard glaze, baked potato and apple purée pork was mouth watering and the purée was a nice finishing touch for dessert i had Scottish strawberries with a drambuie cream large portion of strawberries and enough drambuie to give it an amazing finish this place rocks and ill be a regular from now on I was blown away for quality and price 10/10
