I have been avidly chasing some of the Cromwell Production kits and placed an order some months ago. After scouring Ebay I finally managed to source an A10 cruiser tank, which is one of the kits I was chasing. I had it in my mind that Cromwell Productions would be fabulous, briliantly cast and with few flaws. The review I have read have all indicated that the products are of good quality. The kits and figures in 1/35 have to be good don't they? After all demand far outstrips supply and when the products are available on Ebay they go for large sums of money. On opening the box and examining the parts, I was very dissapointed with the casting, the instructions and the flashing and to be honest could not see what the fuss is all about. Certainly the mystique of Cromwell Productions is out of the window as far as I am concerned. If I want resin tank kits from the UK then Accurate Armour wins by a mile.  
 
There is another manufacturer called IMA in Hong Kong who produce a similar range to Cromwell Productions (early British armour including Vickers tanks and a fair range of Churchill conversion kits for both Tamiya and AFV). I can attest to the quality of the IMA products and no, I have no financial interest in the company.Resicast are producing a Polsten cannon with shield for the Italieri LVT4. So for all of you frustrated modellers out there who think that Cromwell Productions is your only source of certain models think again. So dont put up with the poor salesmanship and poor marketing vote with your hard earned cash and shop where the cdustomer does matter.
