Are you sure you were in angelique lamont????
I bought my wedding dress in there an they NEVER charged any sort of money to let you try any of there wonderful dresses on.
Also i have been in the shop trying on dresses on my own an they have always bent over backward to make sure i am happy. On a few occassions i have taken my small daughter in they have always made her feel welcome(not like most bridal shopn who in my opinion hate the thought of kids anywhere near there dresses.)
Ask for kate shes sooo lovely xx
