I was at St. Josephs primary school from 1960 to 1967 and have very fond memories of it, i was in the old st. josephs just along the road and watched the new school being built with great excitement!! We moved into the new red bricked school with the great rocks outside the gym that we played on for hours. I remember the headmistress Sister Imelda and Mr. McNulty who carried the strap under his jacket on his shoulder!! and Mr. Reilly. I remember doing a farewell show for Father Osborne from the church, I remember Father Lyons who walked about with holes in his shoes because he would rather help the poor people and Father Gits from St. Aloyuisus who used to read great stories to us. I have so many fond memories of my time at St. Josephs and am glad it is still there. X
