A review of Singh's Garage by Chris - Tuesday 2nd of February 2010
Had a minor problem with my car late on a Saturday, spent the evening looking around for a garage open on a Sunday - Found Singh's after a google search, gave Mr. Singh a call on the Sunday morning... managed to drop it off that day just before closing time at 5pm.
Picked up the next day in the evening - he sent a text to let me know it's ready. Cool. Seems like the garage is often open till 9pm during the week.
Quality of the work seems good, prices maybe average, but then how many other garages are open at odd hours? A godsend if you work full time.
Ruthven lane is tiny / not really fully passable by car. Access from Ruthven Street (Not Byers Road, you'll get stuck!) I'd lived nearby for a year and wasn't aware there was a garage there, it's not obvious unless you walk along Ruthven Lane.
