I taught at Ruchazie during 1975/77. P3/4 was my final class - we were out in the hut and were chased by wild dogs as we queued to go into the classroom! The new headteacher, Miss Flora Brown entered the school in the Glasgow schools anti litter campagne ( she had won this in her previous school and was keen to do so again). Mr Yeudall (of the Song of the Clyde fame)wrote a song for us and we had all sorts of other activities including a balloon race. We won of course! I really enjoyed my time there.
