"A funny thing"
A review of St Conval's Cemetery by Jack - Wednesday 11th of November 2009After being out of the country for twenty years i could not just quite remember where my dad was buried. As i was walking round the cemetry as you do, i bumped in to two of the workmen who were trying to remove the back wheel of a car of the edge of a grave. Apparently a lady had been looking for a grave and not looking where she was going had managed to run over a very large piece of rock that was lying on a corner of one of the paths that go between the graves.Any way she had got the car stuck and the lads were trying to get her on her way again. As i was about to go on my way one of the lads said to me"she was lucky" and i said to him "how do you work that one out" well he said "if it had been the next corner down she would have ended up in agrave that we had dug up this morning and by the way youre old man is buried two rows up and five in". Turns out it was a guy that i went to school with and had not seen for about 25 years. He was right my old man was where he said he was
