"Shocking!"

Had a look at the pre-theatre menu and liked the sound of the treats that were on the menu. the place was empty so the service should have been excellent. wrong! for such a nice place the staff were well below the desired level of competence and service. corrine bailey rae on permanent loop is never a good sign, and when we requested a cd change this was greeted with a volley of cussing and swearing from the kitchen. so a few bad signs that gave a feel for the rest of the evening. the haggis starter was straight out of the blue lagoon, the sirloin steak not much better. in fact the only redeeming feature of this occasion was the omittance of a bottle of rose from the bill. result!
