I have been to Bella many times over the last 2 to 3 years, and have yet to have a bad meal. The service is always excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly. The place is always very busy even on week nights. Who cares if there are no Italians working in the place as long as the staff are good at their jobs and frendly, which they are.
As for the first review, are you sure it was Bella you were in?
I have tried most of the Italian restaurants in Glasgow city centre over the years, and Bella is always the one my wife and I go back to. The service and food in some of the others leaves a lot to be desired.
