"Excellent food, awful decor."

A review of Rawalpindi by Alan McLeod written on Tuesday 30th of June 2009

Felt that the other review is harsh.

I've been to all of the Indians around the Charing Cross and Sauchiehall area as i live there. The Rawalpindi may look awful inside, with decor straight out of the 70s, but the food is excellent as far as bogstandard fare goes. The South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken is very good.

The Wee Curry Shop in Garnethill and Cafe Salma are the only other restaurants i'd go to in that area. The rest are very poor imo..
