A review of Goose On Union Street by Stevieboy - Thursday 29th of March 2007This pub at one time was a well earned rest pub work guys who had just finished work and wanted a couple of pints before going home. NOW WORKIES, wearing work gear or trackie type garments are not allowed in the pub, and if seen are asked to leave.
the management in this pub have a dont-care attitude towards its customers and is very badly run.
The staff are not much better and very UNHELPFULL, it is no wonder that many people whom i knew went to the goose on a regulare basis now look elsewhere for a comfortable friendly pub to have a drink.
WHOEVER owns this pub should be very ashamed of the management that run this dive of a pub as they have NO respect for their customers or their staff......if i was to rate this pub...it would be 0
